List of organizations approved for courses qualifying for category I credits in CMA certification program.

The following organizations, societies and institutions have been approved for Category I (formerly Group A) credit towards the California Medical Association's certificate in continuing medical education program. The credit hours are based on the number of hours of the course. Only those courses which are directly related to medical education and applied to patient care are acceptable. Courses put on by approved institutions, in subject matter not directly related to patient care and medical education, are not eligible for Category I credit in the program. This listing is not all-inclusive, as new programs are continuously being accredited, but it is up to date of as August 1, 1972. Physicians should refer to this listing when completing their annual reporting form.
