The authors draw the attention to certain technical details in recording the impedance cardiography and the reading of the records, being of essential importance for the method accuracy. A new method is proposed for the measuring of (dZ/dt) min and T. Seventy healthy subjects were examined. The reliability of impedance cardiography in the determination of stroke volume (gammacardiographic controls) and the significance of the method for the dynamic follow up of cardiac and pulmonary state are discussed.
