Communicating vessel systems for mass cell culture of anchorage dependent cells.

Simultaneous filling of a number of vessels with identical input dosage is possible through an operation which uses the principle of communicating vessels with or without air pressure equilibration (APE). Sets of Roux flaska without APE and the NUNC Multitray Unit system with APE are presented. The latter system is used for large scale propagation of human diploid fibroblasts for production of large quantities of interferon.
