Abstract
We describe 4 young girls with recurrent vaginal bleeding in the absence of other signs of precocious sexual development. Investigation showed low oestrogen levels in 2 of them, and basal gonadotrophins were in the upper part of the prepubertal range. We believe that the isolated early menstruation in these patients was possibly related to increased sensitivity of the endometrium to oestrogens.

我们描述了4名青春期前无其他性早熟迹象却反复出现阴道出血的年轻女孩。检查发现其中2名女孩雌激素水平较低，基础促性腺激素处于青春期前范围的上限。我们认为这些患者单纯的早期月经可能与子宫内膜对雌激素敏感性增加有关。
