[The lymphocyte transformation test and its relation to the duration of disease in patients with oral carcinomas (author's transl)].

Cell mediated immune reactions take an increasing part for the progress of malignant tumors besides numerous other factors. With support of the lymphocyte transformation test a significant difference was pointed out between orofacial tumors with long course and a control group of healthy persons by means of the interpretation of the PHA (phythemagglutinin)-stimulation. These results are to find indicated also in comparison of the antigen preparation with candidin in tumors with long course.
