[Method of lysing animal cells grown on slides on top of an alkaline saccharose gradient].

A device is described providing for lysis of cells grown on glass slides, directly on the top of sucrose gradient. The device allows to avoid cell removing with trypsin, EDTA or due to scraping. The possibility to use this method in studying DNA damage and repair processes in cultured animal cells has been shown using diploid human fibroblasts.
