Hypophyseal adenoma--a case report follow-up.

A patient with bitemporal hemianopia due to a pituitary tumor was followed postsurgically for 4 years. Visual fields and acuities were assessed at regular intervals under the same lighting conditions and with the same instrumentation. The changes in the visual field were both striking and unusual, as they did not correlate with those reported in the literature in other patients with pituitary tumors.
