Endemic skeletal fluorosis is described in 6 children aged 11 or over. Four cases were crippled with severe deformities in the spine, hips, and knees. All showed positive phosphorus, magnesium, and nitrogen balances and excessively positive calcium balances. The skeletal -rays, histology, and chemical composition of the bones revealed diagnostic changes in each case.

6名11岁及以上儿童被诊断患有地方性骨氟中毒。4例出现严重脊柱、髋部和膝部畸形而致残。所有病例均显示磷、镁和氮平衡为正，钙平衡过度为正。骨骼X线、组织学及骨骼化学成分分析显示，每例均有诊断性改变。
