Under observation were 113 patients with the postthrombophlebitic syndrome. Fifty three patients were treated conservatively and 60 were operated upon. The tactics and remote results of the treatment are described. Conservative therapy in most cases fails to give satisfactory results. Surgery including operations on the ligation of communicating veins, dissection of superficial veins and plication of the deep fascia of the leg give stable and satisfactory results.
对113例血栓后综合征患者进行了观察。53例患者接受了保守治疗，60例接受了手术治疗。描述了治疗策略及远期疗效。大多数情况下，保守治疗未能取得满意效果。包括交通静脉结扎术、浅静脉剥离术和小腿深筋膜折叠术在内的手术取得了稳定且满意的效果。
