Abstract
The mitogenic effect of the novel lectin prepared from an animal source on human lymphocytes was examined in comparison with that of phytohemagglutinin-p (PHA-p) by the uptake of 3H-thymidine. The uptake of 3H-thymidine by lymphoblasts was enhanced by the treatment with the lectin as well as with PHA-p, though the effect of the lectin was difficult to compare exactly with that of PHA-p.

通过3H-胸腺嘧啶核苷摄取法，比较了从动物源制备的新型凝集素与植物血凝素-P（PHA-p）对人淋巴细胞的促有丝分裂作用。用凝集素和PHA-p处理后，成淋巴细胞对3H-胸腺嘧啶核苷的摄取均增强，不过凝集素的作用难以与PHA-p的作用进行精确比较。
