Abstract
The feasibility of utilizing lyophilized veins for creation of A-V fistulas was examined in two studies. In Study I, the longevity of lyophilized vein fistulas was found to be comparable to that of fresh veins in the experimental animal. Study II showed that lyophilized cadaveric veins performed at least as well as bovine grafts when used for vascular access in chronic hemodialysis patients. The advantages of lyophilized veins for creation of A-V fistulas in dialysis patients are described.

两项研究对利用冻干静脉建立动静脉内瘘的可行性进行了检验。在研究I中，发现实验动物体内冻干静脉内瘘的使用寿命与新鲜静脉相当。研究II表明，冻干尸体静脉用于慢性血液透析患者的血管通路时，其效果至少与牛移植血管一样好。文中描述了冻干静脉用于为透析患者建立动静脉内瘘的优点。
