Abstract
By gas-liquid chromatography, it was demonstrated that the content of beta-sitosterol made 0.3--0.4% of its cholesterol complex in summer milk fat. Emergence and accumulation of beta-sitosterol in milk were not associated with the content of oil-cake and meal but depended on the content of green mass in the cow's diet.
