Abstract

The ultrastructure of the rat liver cell was studied after a sublethal dose of aflatoxin B had prolonged blood clotting time maximally. Serum enzyme determinations indicate that the liver was functioning normally. The typical hyperplastic nodules and bile duct proliferation which accompany aflatoxin carcinogenesis were not observed. Features which characterize hepatocellular damage caused by a liver carcinogen, such as carbon tetrachloride, were also absent.

在给予亚致死剂量的黄曲霉毒素B使凝血时间达到最长后,对大鼠肝细胞的超微结构进行了研究。血清酶测定表明肝脏功能正常。未观察到黄曲霉毒素致癌过程中伴随出现的典型增生性结节和胆管增生。也没有出现诸如四氯化碳等肝脏致癌物所导致的肝细胞损伤的特征。
