Weekly collections made by hand in the Djoumouna forest, near Brazzaville, and the observation of development in laboratory of eggs laid by wild-caught females of Sergentomyia hamoni have allowed the authors to precise the phenology of the species, to report a diapause in the egg stage and to propose an interpretation of his annual activity cycle.
