[Dynamics of free, total and antibody-bound insulin in diabetes mellitus patients in the process of treatment with swine insulin].

Active free, total and antibody-bound insulin was studied in patients with diabetes mellitus treated with swine and bovine insulin. A tendency to increase in the blood serum of active free insulin was noted in the patients given swine insulin. Free insulin decreased in the patients treated with bovine insulin preparations, or its amount remained unchanged. No regular changes in the antibody-bound insulin were noted.
