[Change in renin activity in the venous blood plasma of dogs under the influence of furosemide, novurit, ethacrynic acid and mannitol].

Changes in the activity of renin in the venous blood plasma of dogs, its volume and the circulating blood volume (CBV) were studied in chronic tests under the effect many days of diuretics administration. A comparison of the plasms renin activity as against changes in the volume of plasma and CBV occurring under the effect of saluretics gives an idea on the factorc regulating the renin secretion by the kidneys.
