Hoffman's syndrome: a peculiar case.

The Authors describe the case of a 50-yr-old woman with painful muscular cramps and high muscular enzymes level secondary to adult-onset myxedema, and where no histological and ultrastructural muscle alterations could be detected, probably owing to the early observation of the patient.
