It is reported on own experiences gathered with the endoscopy of the nasopharyngeal space by means of an angular optic according to Hopkins (70 degrees). The nasopharyngeal endoscopy is indicated for an early diagnosis of malignant tumour growth and clears up a clinically uncertain nasopharyngeal picture. In addition to the generally known examination methods, the endoscopy of the nasopharynx enables a direct local finding.
