A review of a mediocolegal autopsy material comprising 6,283 cases revealed a very low incidence of unrecognized active tuberculosis, namely 0.05%. The incidence appears to be lower than among non-forensic autopsies. The three cases showed uniform characteristics, being middle-aged men who could be classified as destitute.

对包含6283例案件的法医学尸检资料进行回顾发现，未被识别的活动性肺结核发病率极低，仅为0.05%。该发病率似乎低于非法医尸检中的发病率。这三例病例表现出一致的特征，均为中年男性，可归类为贫困人口。
