Abstract

Two cases with Bell's palsy due to Varicella Zoster virus in children are reported. It is suggested that pyogenic meningitis resulting in lowered body resistance reactivated the latent V.Z. virus.

报告了两例儿童因水痘带状疱疹病毒引起的贝尔氏面瘫病例。据推测，化脓性脑膜炎导致身体抵抗力下降，从而使潜伏的水痘带状疱疹病毒重新激活。
