Mitochondrial poly(A)-containing RNAs from the liver of normal and adrenalectomized rats were analyzed electrophoretically in agarose gel with urea. It was revealed that after the glucocorticoid hormone level descended, the content of a single high-molecular poly(A)-containing RNA in liver mitochondria was significantly lowered. This RNA is mapped on mitochondrial DNA as RNA 5 by the blotting-hybridization method (according to the classification of Amalric et al., 1971).
对正常大鼠和肾上腺切除大鼠肝脏中的线粒体多聚腺苷酸(poly(A))RNA进行了含尿素的琼脂糖凝胶电泳分析。结果显示,糖皮质激素水平下降后,肝脏线粒体中一种单一的高分子量含poly(A) RNA的含量显著降低。通过印迹杂交法(根据阿马尔里克等人1971年的分类),这种RNA在线粒体DNA上被定位为RNA 5。
