Eighty-five cases of brain tumours verified by surgery or necropsy and occurring in elderly people are analyzed. In 23 cases, pseudovascular tumors ran the following courses: (1) a stroke-like manifestation of the previously latent tumour process; 2) a remitting course according to the type of transient impairments of cerebral circulation or "minor strokes"; 3) slowly progressive build-up of the subcortical amyostatic syndrome or cortical symptomatology according to the type of the atrophic vascular process. The significance of various clinical and laboratory studies conducted over time and also of definite features of the disease clinical picture for diagnosis specification is discussed.
对85例经手术或尸检证实的、发生于老年人的脑肿瘤病例进行了分析。在23例假血管性肿瘤中，其病程如下：(1)先前隐匿的肿瘤过程出现类似中风的表现；(2)根据脑循环短暂性损害或“小中风”类型呈缓解病程；(3)根据萎缩性血管过程类型，皮质下肌萎缩综合征或皮质症状学呈缓慢进行性发展。讨论了随着时间推移进行的各种临床和实验室研究的意义，以及疾病临床表现的明确特征对诊断细化的意义。
