Abstract

We describe two cases of hypervascular, endocrine tumors demonstrated by intravenous digital subtraction angiography (IV DSA), the first an insulinoma in the head of the pancreas and the second a pheochromocytoma of the left-side adrenal gland. The limitations of IV DSA to reveal these tumors is considered as well as the possible value of the modality as a screening procedure for endocrine neoplasms.
