[Parvovirus infection in pigs: incidence and prevention. The Diessen Group Veterinarian Practice].

A trial is reported, which was carried out to find an answer to two questions: to which extent do Parvovirus-infections occur and what is the effect of a single porcine Parvovirus vaccination? Parvovirus was found to be enzootic on the farms included in the trial, whereas a singled vaccination was shown to be effective with regard to the prevention of lesions due to porcine Parvovirus infections.
