Neurologic complications of drug therapy.

Many drugs used in the treatment of systemic or psychiatric disease can produce neurologic symptoms. These are often insidious in onset and not obviously related to the drug used or the disease being treated. Commonly encountered neurologic syndromes induced by drugs are reviewed, and specific examples are presented.
