From 1. 11. 1977 to 13.2. 1980 404 boys underwent surgery for cryptorchidism. In every case intravenous pyelography was carried out. In 11,3% abnormalities were discovered this way. Only in few cases conformity concerning anamnesis, clinical and paraclinical findings, isotope renography and intravenous pyelography could be demonstrated.
