Many psychotropic drugs induce changes in the menstrual cycle, Spermatogenesis fertility and sexual behaviour. The data in the published literature is reviewed, employing the classification of these drugs into three groups; depressants stimulants, and modifiers of central nervous system activity. The information available suggests that these drugs effect male and female gonadal function, but demonstrative studies are still lacking.
