[Multiple forms of tyrosine aminotransferase in rat liver cells and their role in cell homeostasis].

Properties and hormonal regulation of activity of multiple forms of tyrosine aminotransferase in rat liver cells are considered with particular reference to regulation of synthesis of the multiple forms of tyrosine aminotransferase by glucocorticoid hormones. A role of tyrosine aminotransferase multiple forms in the adaptive reactions of cells during induction and postinduction periods is discussed.
