Activities of gentamicin, sisomicin, tobramycin and amikacin against 561 strains of Pseudomonas sp. bacilli were evaluated. Tobramycin was from two to eight times more active against Pseudomonas sp. than gentamicin. No strains resistant to amikacin were encountered. Correlation between the size of the growth inhibition zone and minimal inhibitory concentration was determined as regression lines for all the tested antibiotics. Sisomicin and tobramycin showed lowest correlation, and gentamicin and amikacin good correlation.
