Cryptorchidism in adults.

Semicastration in cryptorchidism of adults is the preferential therapy. A positive effect on fertility is usually to be expected. An aggravation did not occur in any case. If for any reason, in cases of cryptorchidism or especially if only one testis is present orchidopexy is carried out, there should be a periodical check-up of the patients in order to discern in time the development of a testicular tumor.
