Abstract
Levamisole, in doses similar to those required to observe immunostimulation in animals, antagonized dose-dependently, in rats, gastric ulcers produced by necrotizing agents (HCl and ethanol) and NSAIDs (indomethacin and piroxicam) without affecting the anti-inflammatory properties of these latter drugs.
