Preoperative diagnosis of neurogenic tumors of the stomach is known to be difficult and should be performed in complex with clinico-roentgenological and endoscopic methods. Among the most dangerous complications of neurogenic tumors of the stomach are hemorrhages, malignization, stenosis and abscesses. The neurogenic tumors of the stomach must be treated only surgically. The operation of choice is resection of the stomach. In cases with small benign tumors a resection of the tumor and part of the gastric wall is possible.
