A possibility of determination of sperm activity on light scattering spectra was studied. The laser homodyne light beating spectrometer was used for the measurements. Bovine sperm solutions were investigated. As shown, the sperm activity defined by spermatozoa motility could be determined through light scattering spectrum half-width. The advantages of the new method as compared with routine method of sperm activity determination are discussed.
