Abstract
Basal and stimulated by means of isoproterenol lipolysis was similar in adipose tissue either in persons with normal arterial blood pressure or in patients with hypertensive disease. Lipolysis stimulated by noradrenaline was decreased by 23% in hypertension. alpha-Adrenoreceptors appear to be activated in adipose tissue in hypertensive disease.
