Abstract
Forty patients diagnosed by fiberoptic bronchoscopy in a general hospital are reviewed. More than half were epidermoid and 22,5% microcytic, all of them in smokers. The clinical, radiologic and endoscopic findings are reviewed, emphasizing the need for a higher precocity in the diagnosis.
