Abstract

An analytical procedure for a tertiary alkylhydroxylamine, hydroxylaminoeverninomicin D, was developed. It involved the autoxidation of the compound in the presence ofCu(II) and subsequent polarographic reduction. Conditions are described for the quantitative determination of the possible impurities (everninomicin D and nitrosoeverninomicin D) in hydroxylaminoeverninomicin D.
