Abstract
The results of long-term treatment of osteoporotic patients with 1 alpha-hydroxyvitamin D3 (1 alpha-OHD3) and calcium supplements during periods up to 3 years were evaluated. This treatment showed an increased bone density, especially in patients classified as postmenopausal osteoporis.
