[Morphological evaluation of the autotransplantation of spleen fragments].

An experimental model of autotransplantation of splenic fragments was worked out for the first time in guinea-pigs. The time-course of the graft recovery and adaptation was examined in 150 animals by means of a histological approach. It was discovered that autotransplantation of splenic fragments might be successful after distal pancreatic resection and in the control group.
