Fractures of the neck of the talus: a review of the literature based on Hawkins' classification with two case presentations.

In this paper the authors discuss the classification, management, and complications of different types of fracture of the neck of the talus. They recommend immediate reduction of displaced fractures to lessen the probability of avascular necrosis and traumatic arthritis.
