Abstract

25 patients with 29 histologically confirmed periocular basal cell epitheliomas were treated by topical application of Solcoderm, a solution of organic and inorganic acids and ions. The cure rate of the 29 lesions, which were followed for a mean period of 32 months, was 80%. The overall cure rate following second Solcoderm treatment of the 6 recurrent lesions was 96.7%. The cosmetic and functional results were excellent and there were no serious complications and side effects.

25例经组织学确诊的29眼周基底细胞上皮瘤患者，采用Solcoderm（一种有机和无机酸及离子溶液）局部涂抹治疗。对29处病损进行了平均32个月的随访，治愈率为80%。对6处复发病损进行第二次Solcoderm治疗后的总体治愈率为96.7%。美容和功能效果极佳，且未出现严重并发症和副作用。
