Aortoatrioplasty with double valve replacement for infective endocarditis.

This is a report of a patient with active infective endocarditis involving both aortic and mitral valve annuli. A new surgical technique which was necessary to replace the infected valves is described in detail. This may be regarded as an application of the Manouguian technique to infective endocarditis.
