Abstract

In experiments on mice it was shown that cystamine exerts its protective action not only against the concurrent effect of ionizing radiation and weak thermal injury but also against the effect of heat (burn) 48 h after irradiation with a midlethal dose (30-day-death decreased from 95 to 20%).
