Abstract
Dysmorphophobic patients are unreasonably concerned about their appearance and show an extreme lack of self-confidence and self-identity. In most cases dysmorphophobic symptoms indicate hidden communication problems. Schizophrenic psychosis is not uncommon in these patients. Dysmorphophobia contra-indicates surgical operation.
摘要
畸形恐惧症患者对自己的外表过度担忧，极度缺乏自信和自我认同感。在大多数情况下，畸形恐惧症症状表明存在潜在的沟通问题。这些患者中精神分裂症并不罕见。畸形恐惧症患者不宜进行外科手术。
