In 37,500 patients 291 cases of nystagmus were found. Jerky nystagmus of latent typ was the most frequent form, pendular nystagmus the next. Jerky nystagmus of gaze paretic type, micronystagmus, nystagmus amblyopicus and endpoint nystagmus are compared and contrasted.
