[Primary splenic cyst].

Report on a splenic cyst in a 48-year-old female. On the basis of the post-mortem findings as well as of the survey of literature discussion of etiology, differential diagnosis and diagnostics. It is referred to the significance of the OSPI syndrome as possible sequela of splenectomy.
