[Psychological care of surgical patients (author's transl)].

Today the effective psychical management of patients has become more difficult because the doctor is confronted with a modern critical patient. The relations between doctor and patient are complicated due to many doctors cooperating in treatment and diagnosis. Information of the patient and organisation of the psychical care concerning the prae, intra- and postoperative period are discussed.
