Aneurysmal bone cyst of the orbit: a review.

An aneurysmal bone cyst involving the orbital roof in a 12-year-old girl is discussed. Other reported cases of this highly unusual non-neoplastic bony lesion affecting primarily adolescents and young adults are reviewed. Similarities and differences between orbital aneurysmal bone cysts and those affecting the long bones and spine are also discussed.
