Squamous odontogenic proliferation with probable origin from the rests of Malassez (early squamous odontogenic tumor?).

A case is presented documenting an apparent nonreactive squamous odontogenic proliferation of the rests of Malassez. The nonreactive nature of the tumor is discussed along with the possible association between this lesion and the recently reported squamous odontogenic tumor.
