Out of all patients (n = 313) suffering from peripheral vascular disorders seen at our Department from 1975 to 1981 21 patients had Buerger's disease (Thrombendangitis obliterans). In 4 of them immunological deposits could be traced in the basement membrane of their capillaries. In our opinion nicotine has a stimulating immunological effect on the vessel wall and can be considered as the trigger mechanism for Buerger's disease.
在1975年至1981年期间于我院就诊的所有外周血管疾病患者（n = 313）中，有21例患有伯格氏病（血栓闭塞性脉管炎）。其中4例患者的毛细血管基底膜中可检测到免疫沉积物。我们认为尼古丁对血管壁具有刺激免疫作用，可被视为伯格氏病的触发机制。
