[Characteristics of the clinical course of chronic renal insufficiency and urolithiasis during preparation of patients for surgery].

The work analyzes the treatment of 126 patients with urolithic disease. The authors distinguish five possible variants of the clinical course of chronic renal insufficiency resulting from the disease which determine indications and prognosis of the operative treatment of the urolithic disease, specific preoperative preparation and postoperative management. A conclusion is made concerning expediency of hemolysis made before and after operation which decreases its risk and gives better chances for the surgical treatment of these critical patients.
